They used to be on top of things and were very organized and efficient. So can they have grown so in the last year I think thier customer service has went downhill tremendously.

Very unprofessional. I can only imagine it getting worse as they get busier and busier and not delegating the work to qualified personal.

I am glad I moved onto another company.

We are planning to finish out our basement via architectural drawings and pulling permits. After seeing the reviews here I thought I'd give them a shot since I need to line up contractors. When I called them and tried to explain my situation the first thing he said was that they are very busy with several companies I've never heard of and that they hear from homeowners all the time. Only after I even got the chance to tell them about the architectural drawings and what I was doing did he then ask me to send him the drawings and he'd send back a quote. He wouldn't even come out to look at the place. I sent over the drawings and haven't heard back since. I called another electrical contractor at the same time and sent over drawings and he's already sending me a quote.

It would take them 3-4 times to actually get out to my jobsite to do an estimate. That was mainly due to being too busy and have got re-schedule over and over again. Always changing dates in me. The last straw was when we were about ready to have the rough electrical start on a basement finish they just decide that they can't do business with me anymore and back out of a already agreed to job. Probably because I was a bit flustered at the lack of professionalism on the part of their estimator who was way over his head the last time we spoke and I told him so.

I don't know whether they do good work or not.

Communication is key in the Construction trade. Hopefully Genesis 1:3 will learn that before it causes more harm than good.

He didn't like me telling him "I hope you have a better day than the last time we spoke"

Deanda Building.

This whole situation simply told my wife and I that they are so busy that they do not need any residential work. That's fine, but I'll also remember this for the future too. My wife told me to find another company.

Thank you for sending educated competent electricians! Adam is great, amazing to work with, and open to a couple options. I am very glad I saw your van and gave you a call. I highly recommend using Genesis 1:3 for your commercial electrical needs. I don't typically like people- look at my Google reviews!

Genesis 1:3 installed a subpanel and new outlets in my garage workshop, and wired my 220v heater and lights out there as well. Dustin is very polite and easy to work with. He did my quote; his guys that came to do the work were on time, polite, did great work, and cleaned up well when they left. Because it was such a busy time, Dustin did ask to reschedule my job, and offered me a discount from my original quote in return. Yes, we exchanged a few texts to get the right new work day for both of us, but Dustin is easy to work with and clearly he wanted to be accommodating. I got more than I asked for on the job and am very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend Genesis 1:3 for your residential electrical needs, and they will be my first call should I need other work done in the future.

I have had Genesis out to my home 3 times now and I am deeply satisfied with the work that was provided! The first time I had a hot tub craned onto an upper deck and had to have electrical 220 amp. installed with electrical box and the whole nine yards. At one point in the evening I noticed it wasn't working right and the person who installed the equipment, said "I'll be right over," even though it was 8:00 at night and a half an hour from his house. I was extremely pleased and surprised that they took such pride in their work and that they didn't want any permanent damage to occur to my new hot tub! Dustin, the owner has a very integrity based business and I will always use them!
