If I could put less than 1 star, that is what I would do. Friends adopted a puppy from this store on Thursday evening. He was lethargic, but just thought the dog was stressed from his new environment. Turns out, we had to rush him to a 24 hour emergency vet on Friday evening. He has pneumonia which they can't identify as bacterial or viral at this point. So far, the bill is $4,000. Also, was told by the staff that he didn't seem to be a pure bred. Please do your research! Check out the google and YELP comments carefully. Look up the breeders where they get the dogs from too. The breeder for this dog is from Wyoming. She has complaints against her from The Humane Society, she's listed as running a puppy mill and The US Dept. of Agriculture Animal Inspection Service has 4 violations listed for her. Animals have feelings and suffer just as we do. These people are infecting other dogs by keeping them caged together. The breeder has been known to euthanize sick puppies and cross breed.

Staff does not clean up after the pups very efficiently. Several pups rolling around in their own feces is sad and disturbing and makes the whole store smell like it. Certainly impacts a sale and maybe a call to the ASPCA.

Puppy Mill owned company, that's why they're closing soon. Also, it's always a mess and no one cares for the pups.

When purchasing my puppy from Just Pets, the employees assured me that the puppy was not from a puppy mill. However, after doing further research on the 'breeder', Sharon Munk of BJ and Guys, I found out the employees were lying straight to my face and in fact my new dog was from a puppy mill who has several violations. On top of that my dog has been diagnosed with Giardia, Skin Mites and Kennel Cough. Do not shop here!!

I don't typically like establishments like this, due to me questioning if these are puppy mill pups, but of course I was impressed by the dog breeds I saw here. Sadly, I'm not going to pay over $900 for the pups there, but I'll sure play with them and admire how cute they are! I think the primary downside was the place did smell of feces, and I mean understandably, there's like 5 puppy's in one pin, and more than 3 pins in the store, that is relatively small; it's going to smell.
