I was recommended this place after spending the day running around looking for feeder mice and having no luck. Upon walking in with my leashed ferret, I am met with a rude employee. Thought maybe he didn't like ferrets and we're used to that, so I let it alone. I assume he was the manager I'm reading about in other reviews.
We got a 10 week old seiberian husky and they were super great there. The staff was very knowledgeable and help fully. They even give you the owners personal phone number if there are any problems. We LOVE our husky Tundra. Thank you for the perfect find for our family and our two other dogs who love him too.
These people don't know what they're talking about, or what they're doing. Last I checked it was illegal to keep them crammed into pens like that too.
We were hesitant to buy a puppy from a pet store given the horror stories in the industry but after our experience checking out both Rescues around town and other pets stores - Perfect Pets stood out as a great option for us and more peace of mind. It is a family own and operated business... not a money printing franchise - we were able to talk directly with the owner and his daughters, they all were very knowledgeable, helpful and excited to help us with this big commitment. They get to know the pups, attend to them quickly when accidents happen. They provide a month of insurance at no cost with no gimmicks, and other guarantees at their expense - they even provide the owners cell phone number if any issues arise after taking your pet home. I don't put out reviews too often, but feel this place gets a bad wrap due to the industry and they stood out to prove otherwise. We couldn't be happier with the service and of course our new puppy. - Cheers
I have gone here on multiple occasions and I have never regretted coming. I've gone to places where the workers had been rude and disrespectful but every time I come here everyone is so kind and helpful. I saw an adoption and it was truly amazing, the workers seemed to love the dog so much and did everything they could to insure the puppy got a lovely home. I haven't ever seen a worker not loving on the animals or assisting someone, they're really great people and the animals are amazing. They DO NOT come from puppy mills, I've actually gotten a list of the breeders and they seem to be very nice people as well.
Stay away from this place.
They had puppies everywhere PACKED into small enclosures so tight they stomped on each other to move around, some looked deceptively healthy, as many MILL animals do, but others clearly were very sick.
I asked if they had feeder mice, was told yes and then ignored. Found them myself to discover none were for sale, thanks for letting me know. I told them what I was looking for and was met with clipped tones. He proceeds to tell me to feed my ferrets the literal WORST two foods on the market, then told me I am welcome to my opinion when I explained long-term it will kill the animals. It lacks the needed nutrition. He said he worked at Marshall's for 20 years and they're terrific...Marshall's is an abusive mill. Watch the YouTube videos of Triple F where Marshall's gets some of their breeders.
The 3 stars is strictly for the kind employees and I'm disappointed that I can't give these young ladies 5 stars. The manager is one that I'd give 0 stars too so I compromised. I walked into the store while he trained new employee and the way he spoke to her was outrageous. At first, I assumed he has a deep voice that projects, like my own, and comes off more aggressive. After a couple minutes, I couldn't stand the way he explained this to her. He spoke about commission and the sell of puppies and how she could be like other employees. Now, I've worked commission and sales for 10+ years and this was very unprofessional. He talked to her in a very disrespectful way and she was the extremely helpful and sweet. Also don't shop puppy Mills. He practically orders them out of a catalog and told is he was ordering more puppies now. Super weird. He needs to chill. It's a dying business and I'm sorry but don't take it out on your employees whome are still in high school.
